Blue Ridge Parkway Association to receive National Park Service funding

The National Park Service has announced it intends to award a discretionary cooperative agreement to the Blue Ridge Parkway Association to preparations for the 75th anniversary of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The estimated total program funding available was cited as $304,000, although no specific amount for this award was indicated by the agency.

A funding opportunity notice from the National Park Service states: "FY09 funds authorized to Blue Ridge Parkway Association to support 75 Anniversary of the Blue Ridge Parkway."
