Dr. Coburn Votes to Block Frivolous Lawsuits Against Gun Manufacturers

     (WASHINTON, D.C.) – U.S. Senator Tom Coburn, M.D. (R-OK) today voted in favor of S. 397, the “Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act”.
 
     “As a gun owner, I promise to beat back any attempt to infringe upon Americans’ constitutional right to keep and bear arms.  I applaud my Senate colleagues for passing this bill and protecting the rights of law-abiding citizens.  Lawful businesses should not be punished for the careless and criminal acts of others,” Dr. Coburn said.
